Two $500 scholarships are now available to any woman in her first or second year of college who is taking agricultural or health classes.
The 2009 Marilyn Spiker Memorial Scholarship is provided through a combined effort of the organizations Women Involved in Farm Economics (WIFE) and the Foundation for Agricultural Education and Development, and can be used at any school. An application form must be completed by April 15, with the winning state application being forwarded to the national WIFE chairman, who will then decide the national winner by May 1.
