Surrounded and wrapped in the love of God, family, and friends, Ken passed peacefully into his new life in Christ on December 12.
Ken fought and battled cancer with the same determination, courage and dignity with which he lived his life.
We celebrate and are honored to have shared the life of a man who loved so much, gave so much to others and taught us greatly their importance by the quiet example that he set not only to his family, but to all those that were privileged to know him.
Leaving behind to grieve his loss is his lifetime partner and wife, Bernita; his daughter, Kristin (Mark) Rockwell; his son Ryan Schwartz; his six beautiful grandchildren, Zachary, MacKenzie, Colton, Madison, Karsyn, and Camryn; his sister, Betty (Antonio) Beltran; mother-in-law, Bernice Auverson; and three sisters-in-law, Bonnie Sjol, Linda (Ralph) Salade and Elaine Johnson; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Preceding Ken in death was his beloved son, Kendall; his parents, Kathryn and J.M. "Moose" Schwartz; and his father-in-law, Kenneth Auverson.
Ken was born in Indiana on July 4th, 1943, spent his early years in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and moved to New Town, North Dakota, where he met his wife, Bernita.
The next move in Ken's life was to Edmonds, Washington. He started his own business (Car Craft in Lynnwood), which he ran successfully for 30 years.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 20th at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, Washington.
