BELCOURT Mabel Rose Parisien, 85, Belcourt, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, in a Belcourt hospital.

She was born July 20, 1923, to Alex and Clara Frederick in Belcourt. She married Norman "Tom" Parisien Aug. 18, 1941, in Belcourt.

Survivors: daughters, Joyce Gurule, Betty Chidester and Carol Brumley, all Belcourt, Junie Randall, Grand Forks, Vicky Keplin, Rolette; sons, Edward, Hazen, James, McLaughlin, S.D.; 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence, Belcourt.

Funeral: Wednesday, 10 a.m., St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt.

Burial: St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, in the spring.

Rosary service: Tuesday, 8 p.m., in the church.

Visitation: Tuesday, 6 p.m., in the church. (Elick Funeral Home, Rolla)
