Doreen Krosbakken

Doreen Krosbakken, 46, of Harvey, ND, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at the St. Aloisius Medical Center, Harvey.

Doreen was born March 24, 1962, in Williston, ND. She was the daughter of Dennis and Alice (Hendrickson) Erickson. She grew up and attended school in Medicine Lake, MT, and graduated from high school there in 1980. She worked at the Grenora Cafe before moving to Williston in 1981 and worked at the Pamida store. In 1983 she moved to Dagmar, MT, to work at the Blue Moon Supper Club. She then moved to Plentywood, MT, and was employed at Rueb's Super Value. She married Mike Krosbakken on Jan. 31, 1997, in Plentywood. Doreen and Mike have resided in Harvey since 2000. She worked at Warehouse Grocery and most recently at HAV-IT Adult Services in Harvey.

Doreen enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, fishing and most of all spending time with her children. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Doreen is survived by her husband, Mike, of Harvey; three daughters, Kayla and special friend Terry Moltzan and their son, Jack, of Belgrade, MT, Krista and Michelle, both of Harvey; son, Jameson, of Harvey; mother, Alice Erickson, Williston; sisters, Doris Wivholm, Medicine Lake, Alicia Erickson, Dickinson; numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles.

Doreen was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Erickson; brother, DuWayne Erickson; son, Shane Krosbakken; grandson, Korey Reynolds.

Funeral mass: Monday, Sept. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey.

Burial: Church cemetery.

Visitation: Today, from 2 to 7 p.m., with prayer services at 7 p.m., at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.
