SHEYENNE Henry Hanson, 86, Sheyenne, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in a New Rockford nursing home.
He was born May 31, 1922, to Even and Ruth Hanson, near Sheyenne. He served in the Army from March 15, 1945, to Nov. 28, 1946, in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign of World War II. He married Helen Tollefson Feb. 14, 1956, in Maddock.
Survivors: wife; son, Robert, Sheyenne; daughters, Irene Cudworth, Sheyenne, Betty Solwey, Minot; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilma Erickson, New Rockford, Dorothy Rue, Minot.
Funeral: Tuesday, 11 a.m., First Lutheran Church, Sheyenne.
Burial: Eden Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sheyenne.
Prayer service: Today, 7:30 p.m., Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford.
Visitation: Today, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.
