Muriel Wessels

WARWICK Muriel Marie Wessels, 82, Tolna, formerly of the Warwick area, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, in a Devils Lake nursing home.

She was born July 27, 1925, to Even and Karen Peterson near Warwick, and was raised by her grandparents, Martin and Marie Christianson. She married Alton Stubson in April 1955 in Crookston, Minn. Alton died in April 1966. She married Don Wessels Sept. 8, 1967, in New Rockford. He also preceded her in death.

Survivors: sons, Wayne Stubson, Crary, Wade Stubson, Fargo; daughter, Wendy Gourneau, Tolna; five grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Eggleston and Ihlys Peterson, both Devils Lake; brother: Dennis, San Bernardino, Calif.

Funeral: Today, 10 a.m., Warwick Lutheran Church.

Burial: Warwick Cemetery.

Visitation: Today, one hour prior to the service, in the church. (Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake)
