@Callaway, interesting that you pick Mark out of all the comments containing complaints. And, it seems that it's not about "counting" the votes but "identifying the vote count." I don't imagine it is difficult for the write-ins to make that request, and it would be nice to know.

Mark - are you running for office in the next election? You seem like you have all the answers. Time for you to take actions to make change instead of just complaining on MDN stories on a daily basis. You obviously have a lot of free time on your hands, put it to use to make a positive impact...

Everyone complains about this town yet NOBODY wants to run to change it. THEN some guy has the ba!!s to run on a write in campaign at the last minute. Now we are going to have a board review to see if they can be counted or not? If he got one vote only, it should still be counted. This is only being reviewed because we were very close to intruding into the Minot Mafia.
