What else would you expect if you vote Democrat. "shirking one’s duty" has become a Liberal Trademark.

Since you're a vet -- and apparently a very proud one -- I'm just wondering how the VA health care system has treated you all these years.

Yeah, Jack, I know your heart just bleeds for those soldiers who gave their lives in Afghanistan.

Hey, on that same topic . . .

In what branch of the military did you serve?

On the campaign trail, President Obama vowed to pull all American troops out of Afghanistan by the end of 2014. However, shortly after the election, the White House said they would not be able to commit to a specific withdrawal schedule in Afghanistan.

American deaths in Afghanistan have more than doubled under Obama's leadership compared with the preceding eight years of George Bush, according to the Congressional Research Service.

Where is your source on that figure, Rush? Does that include the 4000 troops who died in Iraq, AND the 3000 American civilians that died as a direct result of the single greatest act of mass homicidal negligence in American history (9/11/2001)???

Always nice to see the socialist progressives respectful comments on Memorial day weekend. When you can't defend lil barry's dismal incompetence, the old play book says let's blame George W Bush. No sense in mentioning that lil barry has 75 per cent more casualties during his 5 and a half years as President than GWB did. But then the socialist progressives aren't paid $10 per post by George Soros to post against the burrock insane oblamer regime. I hope the socialist progressives enjoy Memorial day weekend that so many military people have fought and died for in all the wars

Afghanistan (AP) — President Barack Obama slipped into Afghanistan for a surprise visit Sunday to make clear that the U.S. was likely to maintain a limited role here even after its combat mission ends this year and America's longest war comes to a close.

An unknown source from an unknown GOP candidate was quoted as saying" We're gonna fix this. A million deficit VA requests doesn't matter when we're talking about the interests of a few Americans."

Careful MBHD, all this physics talk about an action creating a reaction will have alot of those sticking their fingers in outlets & peeloosing on fences just to find out that Obamacare doesn't cover stupid anymore.....

We do need to recognize the great contribution of the Bush/Cheney regime, because they did supply lots of maimed and mutilated soldiers for our VA to try to help.

Without their contribution, the VA would not have enough to do. We always need wars to keep the VA busy, so that's why we always vote for our Republic party so we make sure we never run out of wounded veterans.

"I feel Obama paid for his and my Democrat Party's Omamacare with the elimination of fraud and waste in Medicare, Medicaid, and VA healthcare....it was a win-win for everyone, I feel...they are all running at top efficiency now that Omamcare is in full effect, I feel..."

I think I feel, or feel I think that our Republic party deserves much credit too, with the great job they have done running their House of Representatives. Their job approval rating is about a third of what Obama's is, but some say that's just the liberal media. But they did repeal Obamacare 50 times, which worked good other than the fact that it did nothing.

But that's all good because our Republic party can never be wrong and can never to be to blame for anything because they got God on their side.

The VA has spent over 200 million dollars to settle over 1000 wrongful death lawsuits over the decade following 9/11.

I think there is plenty of blame to go around.

"Adage; "Rich men send poor men into war". It only follows that they wouldn't assure honorable care to the injured."

How popular do you think GW would have been had he campaigned in 2004 that the US should set 2 Trillion aside for Veteran's services for the next 20 yrs???

Most in the GOP today blame a video for starting the Iraqi War. They also continue to assert Saddam is the reason 2 MILLION still live in tents in the desert today.....

We should have listened more closely when Donald Bumsfeld gave his daily talking points edited by "D" Cheney.....

"Why is a reasonable minimum wage such a political fight?"

Answer: because the corporatists want cheap labor, or even better yet, free labor. This is how capitalism rolls: drive labor costs down by whatever means necessary, and then spend billions attacking anyone who is against it (play the Marxist card).

If you want to talk about shirking ones duty, you need to look no further than the Congress. Almost every budget or proposed budget for the last 35 years has under funded the Veterans system. But, you can see the politicians "bloviate" at will about how they support the Vets. Go on the net and research how many times the Republicans have pushed to cut the limited benefits the Vets have now. Research it boys and girls. The history is there, right up to Paul Ryan's new budget that continues these cuts. It is a fact, wingers.

Well PJ you know what happens when you sprinkle food on top of a fish bowl.....In this case it's the GOP who appear to have their tails & fins chewed on a bit because MOST of us know the real tragedy is WAR itself.....

And, if you want another one just like the other one, vote Republican!
