Don't blame me for being a lazy mooch -- someone else signed me up for my welfare. I don't even want it, actually, but what's a conservative right-winger like me gonna do?

Somebody else is responsible for my actions.

True, I'm living on welfare -- but somebody else signed me up for it.

And, one more thing, PJ. If you haven't yet figured out that nothing Jack writes is sincere, you're much more ignorant than I first thought.

PJ, I don't know where you are from and, honestly, I don't care. If you are from North Dakota, you should be ashamed of yourself. If you aren't from North Dakota, you should go home. Your comment did nothing but show how uneducated you are. "Nationally, state governments received 32.8 percent of their total general revenues from the federal government in the 2012 fiscal year, the studies show." www . thenewsstar. com/article/20140519/NEWS01/305180041/State-budget-largely-federal-funds. So, even if your statement was true, ND wouldn't be much outside the norm. However, your statement is completely false. "Alaska tops the state receiving the smallest share of federal revenues (20.0 percent), followed by North Dakota (21.0 percent), Hawaii (23.6 percent), Connecticut (23.7 percent) and Virginia (24.8 percent)" - also found on the News Star story. Stop spewing untruthful garbage.

This was never a "prosperous state."

With more than 40% of the budget made up of federal welfare, the correct term for ND is -- welfare state.
