All anyone has to do is view the Michelle Bachmann interview with Candy Crowley to realize there is no substance in this new committee other than to solicit campaign funds from their base.....

The potential to sway independent voters away from Hillary Clinton will fail and this strategy(if you can call it that) will have a negative effect AGAIN on Congress leaving many holding the (Tea) bag, coat & hat.....

"...how the attack happened, why better efforts to rescue Americans in Benghazi were not made..." MDN

Read the Read the Committee on Armed Services ("Majority Interim Report: Benghazi Investigation Update") (search) issued Feb. 2014

In it you find.... "the President subsequently permitted the military to respond with minimal direction." This means do what every is necessary to protect our personnel there.

And:

"There was no “stand down” order issued to U.S. military personnel in Tripoli who sought to join the fight in Benghazi."

Just a couple of the claims the Fox News still to this day like to make against the President and the Military.

Everything that could be done was done. "But there MUST be more"!!! Why?

Search for the report, it's a pdf file. Download it read at your leisure.

Bare in mind it is the Majority report (R) So you get wording like "minimal direction" describing the Pres's orders which mig

There are elections coming but righties prefer 2 attack Obama. He is a saint compared to W and cheney. Bengazi is their avoidance of jobs, min. wage and our neglected infrastructure. A new party name 4 them i say--bengazi. Come to the party hungry righties because u may have to eat all of your lies about Obama and the Affordable Care Act. Roger ailes says "do bengazi and drop the ACA". He is a king pin in the oligarchy--and they do as he says. Turn on fox (bengazi) talk 4 proof.

What are you libs afraid of? The Truth?

Obama and company can just plead the Fifth or if nothing of value comes out of it as you hope, then there you have it.

All one big cover-up to protect Obama in the election following the attack on Obama's 9-11 with the November vote not far away.

Call that political as it was to cover up his lack of leadership. Who would want to serve under him?

Only 12% Call Obamacare a Success

A new CNN poll finds that just 12% of Americans consider the Obamacare program a success.

President Barack Obama has pressed fellow Democrats to laud and run on his signature legislative achievement. However, other polls confirm that the law, which has been in effect for over four years now, remains deeply unpopular.

Some 49% want Congress to make changes to the law, and 12% said to keep Obamacare as is. Of those surveyed, 38% backed a full repeal.

Who are these liars who say it is a success? And you think problems in the V.A. are bad, just wait for full implementations of ObamaCare to occur.

BACKFIRE!

"Lawmakers had another go at Michael Morell, a former deputy and acting CIA director and the man who revised the infamous “talking points”.

Morell, a now-retired career intelligence official who served under six presidents and was with George W. Bush in Florida on the day of the 2001 terrorist attacks.“I never allowed politics to influence what I said or did — never,” he testified. “None of our actions were the result of political influence in the intelligence process — none."

. The White House did not make any substantive changes to the talking points, nor did they ask me to.” He called the talking points — which turned out to be wrong — “the best available information at the time.”

Did he have a conversation with anyone at the White House about the nature of the talking points?

“No, sir.”

His thoughts on the false information Susan Rice gave on TV the Sunday after the attacks?

“What she said about the attacks evolving spontaneously from a protest was exactly what the talking points said.”

How about the claims that somebody in the administration told the military not to assist on the night of the attack?

“I am aware of several requests by CIA for military support that night, and those requests were honored and delivered.”

The former official’s denials of any skullduggery drove the Republicans on the panel into a fury and caused Rep. Lynn Westmoreland to lose command of his vocabulary. The Georgia Republican, trying to find sinister meaning in the CIA’s changing of a phrase from “attacks” to “violent demonstrations,”

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) let loose a string of insults on the uncooperative witness, saying Morell was either “misleading by omission” or “lying by omission” and violating “your obligation to this committee.”(WP

Obviously the words "no sir", "never" & "that information was the best available at the time" just don't seem to satisfy those conspiracy driven inept at comprehending Republicans!

Liberals are always scared of the truth. They insist we don’t need another committee to investigate the attack—but they’re really afraid of the incompetence the truth will reveal.

Kirsten Powers(Democrat mind you), who writes that the glib, evasive, and arrogant posture of the White House and the president’s supporters has brought about the present Benghazi inquiry. The American people were told repeatedly in the days and weeks following the attack that it was the result of an offensive video‚ an assessment the president and secretary of state surely knew within hours was far from the truth.

Even James Carvel is starting to slam Oblunder...that takes some doing.

This is way too funny. The same people who defended the Bush catastrophes, all the war crimes and homicidal negligence of 9/11, the torture, the cesspool of crime and corruption in Tom DeLay's House of Reps. These same criminal supporters are all bent out of shape about this.

You're calling them comments now?

"Hows the dead file doing worried american??"

dead file? worried american?

Well, between D ick Cheney & George W Bush, no other pair of Americans in political power have ever been responsible for the deaths of so many in the 21 Century. Some say MILLIONS while others conservatively state the number to be in "hundreds of thousands".

Europe has a sense of history while others like Putin choose to scholar in remembering.....

Embarrassed America talks about Iraq & Afghanistan as much as my German relatives talked about WWII!

Why Obama’s Benghazi Intelligence Briefings Should Be Released? Obama and Intelligence. Not sure those two things go together. But if you are not hiding something, release the intelligence reports.

There is no good reason for Obama to refuse such a request. If Obama is right that the intelligence community told him the attack was the result of a protest over the Internet video, releasing the Presidential Daily Briefs will demonstrate that he is telling the truth — and put the Benghazi debate to rest once and for all.
