We only flooded because of the can dams. You can't stack rainwater 115 feet deep without a dam. The same rain event today could not be held in the can dams because they hold too much water year round 4 hydro-power.

I know for a fact that the Republican controlled city officials DID call Canada and demanded the floodgates be opened.....

Larry: Our city did not get the nickname ---------mafia thru fair play. This city routinely favors business over the individual. Instead of real flood control, we got hostefest, madc, a new grandstand and on and on and on. We need flood proof sewage lift stations all the way to canada--to stop the stink and dangerous disease germs in the flood waterwater. The city council is more just another chamber of commerce than reps for all citizens. All this would change if our majority was not from the party of business.
