"Spelling, schmelling. Who cares when too many times the pronunciation is no match 2 the spelling."

Language cannot be sized up and sorted like a pair of socks.

If you understood the mathematical, scientific and historical foundations of the language you use, you would see that the pronunciation does in fact "match 2 the spelling."

"Spelling, schmelling. Who cares when too many times the pronunciation is no match 2 the spelling. It is a game 4 nerds with no great purpose or value. It creates an opportunity 4 those who dwell on it to criticize those who leave small stuff in the dust. Great minds dwell on math, science, respect 4 each other and proper care 4 the earth."

Legend, just don't let PJinfinity hear you say this...

It should have been on the June ballot to be fair and honest. It's a shame and a scam on ND people again.

Either time they had early voting at the court house a full week before the vote. Doesn't matter really the MDN website trolls will slide back into Grandstands and Obama talk anyway. Except for legend-in-own-mind that can stay on topic either way

Let me get this straight, in Dec having the vote at the schools was a conspiracy because teachers could vote at work. So they moved it too central location and now it's too hard to get too.

It should be a concern. With 1 voting place how are the older retired people that this vote affected supposed to get to the polls. This is the first time I heard of such a thing when traditionally on such a vote the many schools are the voting places. This is a good lesson for the kids on behalf of the school board and Volmer, if you can't get what you want legitimately then use any means necessary to attain it.

"i also wonder what lesson this teaches our kids, we can think they doent understand but the truth is they see all of it and are effected by it."

_____________

Your post teaches kids to stay in school -- because people who don't know how to spell are a constant embarrassment to themselves.

"We know that for a fact from Omamacare..... with Omamacare, we are truly moving forword ..."

______________

For a fact, huh?

You Neanderthals can't tell the difference between a local school bond and national legislation on insurance affordability.

Worse yet, you're too stupid to even know how little you know.

Well, stupidity has a price.

You sit on here all day regurgitating the talking points of your corporate FOX masters while the Republicans pick your pockets.

i find it sad a person can be proud of this turn out this is exactely the way this will turn out when all the ethecks and morals are removed from the voting practice, i would be ashamed of this vote.

Why? If Minot's population of voters would have been strongly opposed to the bond issue, they would have been in the voting booth to vote. They weren't.

They yes voters depend upon a poor voter turnout. Kind of unfair, but if the people of Minot don't care, i.e. give up, you never get to vote no and that is final, no doesn't mean no, no means you vote until it becomes yes. In Minot, you vote until the yes voters get what they want. Those who benefit were there to vote yes, they are not going to vote no if they can benefit from a yes vote.

Minot's voters don't really have a choice unless they vote yes, a no vote doesn't count. Yes votes are the only votes that count and there will be votes until the yes votes prevail.

You wouldn't expect people who smoke to vote to ban tobacco. The smokers would show up in droves to vote against a tobacco ban.

The yes voters were there to vote for a new school. That's what counts.

No doesn't.
