i also think when a good manager has to listen to peoples problems that doent help the general public and are self serving he or she should be able to send them a bill for therapy.

yep their is a lot of people that know how to complaine that is everywhere, a good leader will let them cry but do the job he is paied to do , and knows the real problem from the crying,

All I have to do is read all the complaints on the MDN website about everything from the city council to water to potholes to know the city manager job isn't an easy one. But it is fairly easy to judge while looking in from the outside.

comon we are in the middel of north dakota where farming and oil are the markets how hard is this job. fill the holes in the road and pay the bills. only people that doent know what to do look for sombody to tell them.

Hopefully, they will bring in a few candidates who will demand action if hired as city manager. The city needs a leader, one who can manage multiple 'spinning plates' at one time.
