The thing that really has my feelings going is that the 'ND welfare' we get back for every dollar we send to the feds, it is really going to mess with that number, since it's based on 'per capita'.....me and my Democrat Party people will not be able to whine as much, as that '$1.68' figure will go down with higher working population, and a double whammy since those working people will be sending more money to the feds....it's a sad day for my Democrat Party hearing this news..

Unfortunately for you, Jack, many of those additional working people will be sending money to the feds based on their home state, which is not North Dakota. It seems that all I ever see in the comments are whiners...mostly about Obama. And that's not from the Democrats.

Hal Neff.....According to the consumer finance site Wallet Hub, which crunched federal tax and spending data and then ranked states from most to least dependent on Uncle Sam. North Dakota ranked 29th.

Republicans are the biggest welfare takers in this country. funny how they complain about welfare. Republicans you are the people buying king crab legs with your welfare.

Hypocrites.

Hal, go to wallethub. com The figures are less than a year old. North Dakota did go from number 5 to 29th. But they still are taking more than putting in.

It's quite clear who the "Makeinest" and the "Takeinest" are.

If wallethub figures are true, that ND went from 5 to 29, why isn't billgrr's drumbeatin' going away proportionately?

i feel the people that build and put this country to work should be entitled to some of the tax they pay in. now if the people that enjoy the fruits from the working people are asked to follow rules i say good..

the native americans were fighting over this land long before we ever showed up here and it traded hands many times and always went to the winners. so why do we have to pay for something that we won.
