I guess we can call this "a sense of entitlement gone wild."

My parents had the same rules, perhaps a little stricter because it was back in the day. I chose to ignore them and I was asked to move out.

There was NO WAY that I would have EXPECTED my parents to finance my choices. Whatever happened to 1) consequences and 2) self-respect?

GIP has been hitting the pints. Nothing else to do all day with no job. Can't go to work, cuts into the old entitlements from the Government, so, pints it is.

Children are housed, clothed, and fed by responsible parents. If a child wants to sue the parents, the parents can counter-sue and demand repayment for the costs of raising the child.

It would be a fair compromise.
