Last month, MontrealUniversity and scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption. The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain Phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women.

To test the theory, 100 men each drank 8 schooners of beer within a one (1) hour period.

It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects, yes, 100% of all these men

1) Argued over nothing.

2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong.

3) Gained weight.

4) Talked excessively without making sense.

5) Became overly emotional

6) Couldn't drive.

7) Failed to think rationally, and

8) Had to sit down while urinating. No further testing was considered necessary!! GoInPeas

Please show me proof that the drinking age in ND was ever under 21!!

This isn't the first party and won't be the last party. We all did it, but we think it's so wrong when we hear about it happening to kids after us. They are doing the exact same thing as us and yet we are so judgmental and must forget that we all did it also.

And one beer would probably make you drunk too. Would not matter if the beer alcohol content was 5% or 3-2, you would still not make any sense.

"Idiots" Why are people blaming the police for this like they dont have anything else to do. I to was an officer many years ago and i made it a point not to be around the bar area at closing. If someone makes a stupid decision out and about he or she was fair game. The officers had a complaint call and had to respond. If they hadnt then people would have been critical of that. Those of you who think they had nothing better to do, next time think about it if you are home yourself trying to sleep and your next door neighbor is making noise, wouldnt you want an officer to repond. Some will say yea i will go over and join them. Grow up then Idiots with no respect is all i have to say

Then Dr. Stevenjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave, because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about.. And we said okay..

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.

Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW'

We aren't ruining kids lives when we are arresting them for drinking. It won't be on their record as they won't be charged as adults either. I think it's teaching these kids a lesson, and no I didn't drink before I was 21. In addition, I don't condone it either and shame on you supporting our kids who are so lost and have nothing better to do around here.

They won't release names of minors I'm very sure and in the days of yore...that would be embarrassment enough. Now it is a badge of honor I suppose.

We must be so careful and not hurt juniors feelings for whatever reason that is? Best one I can come up with is that someday our kids will pick out the nursing home we go to.

all true it is sad that society has a say in raising kids, i doent advocate child abuse but they should know there are rules that mankind should follow.if these rules are followed as a child they are practiced as an adult. wall street would be in better shape also.ethics and morality

In the grand scheme of things; this is not even newsworthy. This stuff goes on every Friday and Saturday night but in smaller numbers. Rich kids lawyer up; poorer ones take the hit and our unofficial class system does what it does. They may have been celebrating surviving the flood or 2 springs w/o a flood. This may have been a flood workers celebration. Young people have always been an easy score 4 the law. What is gained by all of these arrests? Have weed laws and arrests been effective? Be thankful the 4 times higher rate of crime in the west is not all here yet. I'll have a drink to that.

The drinking age was never 18 but 21 and in our day the gripe was "if I'm old enough to die for my country(@17-18) I should be old enough to buy a beer."

Always seemed odd to me though that when graduation nears; the cops are out in full force chasing the kids around from one wheat field to a gravel pit. Never changes and to criminalize them, is not right either.

well if were my kids i want them to know better. some of my best lesson in life were learned the hard way, so if they are held responsable for their actions it is a good thing, i would rather get them out of jail instead of going to a funeral. so put them in jail and if one kid figures it out i say good deal.

Not saying I condone this type of activity BUT:

1970's - Drinking age WAS 18 and you were more than likely just sent home.

1980's - Drinking age IS 21 and more than likely your parents were called maybe even to just come get you at the jail.

Current - Drinking age is STILL 21, everyone arrested, charges filed, college chances ruined, criminal records created.

Again, not saying it is right but why are we out to RUIN kids lives for the same things we all did back in the day? 71 charges filed?! Yup, some are going to run their mouth so I can see some coming but geesh. Just my $.02 though.

At this age, the parent has very little control and if they are on top of it; Johnny and Janie will lie and say they are going to the movies or some excuse.

Many of the parents have been down the same road as their kids and actually lavish or pamper them with the means to do so.

This has gone on a long time and a child's character is pretty well molded by age 10-12.

And furthermore many parents will be in denial about their kids activities; example might sound like my kid would never do this or that.
