"Allow the Democrat minority party a voice, or elect more Democrats to the legislature." the writer concludes.

A formula for disaster and we will become one of the many impoverished States in this country. The Democrat motto of it's always easy to spend other people's money.

for some reason i just don't trust any of our emperor's storm troopers anymore. the emperor's epa thugs are pumping out enough regulations every day. our messiah will watch over us and supply us with any new laws or regs that He deems necessary. As it should be.

Definition of insanity is letting political parties control the oilfields in ND. Unless the politicians are out in the patch hands on they should just keep their political spew and deception to themselves and their cronies.

Hey, social, thought we might have some well water shipped to you from W. Virginia. Or maybe rushslide could move to ND so his blog could become relevant. Republicans= rich and big corporations only. Democrats= the working people and the enviorment we live in.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the U.S. federal government which was created for the purpose of protecting human health and the environment by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. The EPA was proposed by President Richard Nixon and began operation on December 2, 1970, after Nixon signed an executive order. The order establishing the EPA was ratified by committee hearings in the House and Senate. The agency is led by its Administrator, who is appointed by the president and approved by Congress.

Richard Milhous Nixon (January 9, 1913 – April 22, 1994) was the 37th President of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1974, when he became the only president to resign the office. Nixon had previously served as a Republican U.S. Representative and Senator from California and as the 36th Vice President of the United States from 1953 to 1961.

So the EPA was started by Republicans..hmmmm

once again, because the hard left likes to confuse this point. we all should agree we need some govt, and various agencies, but we don't need them pursuing agendas by EITHER side. or using them to punish those that don't agree with them. and that goes for IRS,EPA,POTUS,and every other govt agency. Like punishing middle class with largest tax increase in history - obamacare.

So, social, your blog indicates that these counties are pursuing social agendas by wanting to have programs designed to help the local people. Sounds familiar to a Republican but foreign to the people affected by the oil boom. Yep, you always have to blame someone or something and make sure they are government or liberals or anyone but your views. Small world you live in.

"Republicans= rich and big corporations only. Democrats= the working people and the enviorment we live in."

Uh, not so much, centerish...

"While Republicans often get the reputation for being “the party of the rich,” seven of the 10 richest members of Congress are Democrats, according to the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP)."

"...it is the super rich of Silicon Valley and Wall Street, combined with the super rich of Hollywood, who command the priority attention of Democratic Party leaders these days. Of the ten richest zip codes in the U.S. eight gave more money to Democrats than Republicans in the last two presidential cycles. President Obama doesn’t go to union halls to host fundraisers; he goes to posh Wall Street townhomes, the Hollywood hills, or to Tom Steyer’s house in Pacific Heights..."

As far as ND Democrat rich vs. ND Republican rich, I don't have that data. Since centerish didn't qualify her equations, I went national.

My goodness, rushslide, where did you get that breaking news with such a devastating title. Gosh, those dems want to give it all away, don't they. Oh, I found it--- Fox news and hot off the press, just seven hours ago. Wow, are they on time. Since it came out about seven days ago. Now have you found a hot item. Insanity, you say... well, since when? You should have gone out and read the rest of the story instead of the manure that Fox news wants to spread. What is that 'aspire' program. Is anyone else doing things like this??? Oh, by the way, have you checked the last twenty years of Republican presidency's and their record on deficit spending. It is a good read you know. But, they probably don't print that where you live..Out of state and a paid blogger. Wow, you are gooooooood...
