Monitor new policy changes

February 11, 2014

Allowing immigrants with links to terrorists to stay in the United States makes no sense. We have plenty of applicants for entry who revere this country without giving breaks to those who do not....

Fair enough, billgrr. Now, on to how those 2 million adults will pay for their health insurance? Subsidies?

Yes loco that's the same CBO, those 2 million future job openings? These are mainly adults who have hung on to their jobs simply to have heath insurance.

centerish: "How many on this blog use a credit card of some kind? For those of you who do, when you get your bill, do you pay it???? Well, the House is where "ALL" spending bills originate. Thus, the debt ceiling is to "pay" for all the spending that "the House and Senate" has already spent. It does not authorize more spending. Get a life wingers."

And wonder of wonders, there happened to be some Democrats in the House over the years who voted to spend money, along with Republicans. Bipartisan deficit spending, y'all!

I only say this with the degree of respect that centerish intends: get a life, left-wingers.

"The CBO, the non-partisan budget referee, said the deficit will fall to $378 billion by 2015 with no congressional action."

Yep, read that report. Is that also the same CBO that found that "(more) than 2 million Americans who would otherwise rely on a job for health insurance will quit working, reduce their hours or stop looking for employment because of new health benefits available under the Affordable Care Act?"

The administration spun this news as a good thing; others said this news wasn't a good thing.

Analysis scham-nalysis. Is there any true non-partisan organization in Washington DC anymore? I'm too cynical to hope for it.

FACT!!

President Obama is one of the lowest spending President's ever.

Rule #1: whatever the GOP says, the opposite is true.

Willies, don't let it out, but the deficits really are rising. I don't know who says they are falling, but when Congress passes a bill to keep on deficit spending, that tells the real story.

But the Republicans will keep up the same pitiful and pathetic fretting as with everything, more ill wishes for the country, and the woefully off predictions.

-Inflation will skyrocket (almost flat)

- Gas prices will be higher than the Bush years (much less).

- The economy will crash again (going 5 years since the Bush era crash and bailout).

- Obamacare will increase cost of health care (keeps falling).

- Obamacare will increase deficits (keeps falling).

- Romney will win; we don't know anyone that's voting for Obama (he won).

- Unemployment will increase (falling).

...And on and on.

I heard that there was another Grand Jury convened with subpoenas being handed out to another Republican governor and his staff. Well, well, what was this cover up? How about protecting a coal company from harming the enviorment???? oops, too late. They should have stuck to suppressing the vote.

But, when Republicans commit crimes, that's not a crime. It's only when Democrats commit a crime that makes it a crime.

Yeah, Landslime, I guess all that stuff about impeachment over lying about sex and the series of investigations into Whitewater, etc that resulted in NOTHING was just a figment of the liberal media's imagination.

Well, Landslime, as usual your "calculations" are completely wrong. Kind of like your calculation the other day where you said 24 x 40 = 9600.

I was 30 when Clinton got elected. So I remember the Republican witch hunt EXTREMELY well.

WA Post 12-19-13

"The Obama administration deported about 369,000 undocumented immigrants during fiscal year 2013, a 10 percent drop from last year when a record 410,000 were removed from the country, according to new statistics from the Department of Homeland Security.

"The annual number of deportations have been closely watched by both immigration proponents and those opposed to relaxing rules for people who have come across the border illegally, and the new figures are likely to provoke debate as the White House and congressional Democrats, along with some Republicans, continue to push for an overhaul to immigration laws."

Allowing those who use the USA for great wealth and then hide it overseas to avoid U.S. taxes; makes no sense either.

" Why hasn't Obama written an executive order to complete the border along Mexico?"

Don't know, don't care. Why? Because Obama has done much more than any other administration in stopping the illegal immigration, and has deported more illegal immigrants than any other administration.

Just more facts that yalls don't know about because Fixed News didn't report it.

"Now, our country had been hit at least three times under Clinton, with NO repercussions. Where was Clinton?"

Why should there be any repercussions? Can you say that those were all Clinton's fault?

Where was Clinton, you ask? Well, where were your Republican heroes? Oh, yeah, on their 8 year witch hunt doing everything they could to destroy Clinton.

I really think you right wingers really need to just drop the whole "Clinton-Lewinsky" scandal thing. You guys never got much mileage out of it back then, and it ain't doing you any good now.

Oh, and by the way, I very clearly remember whenever Clinton tried to do anything to protect the country, the Republicans in congress accused him of diverting attention away from Monica-gate.

Also, anytime yalls want to start doing an American body-bag count comparison between Bush's catastrophic 8 years and Clinton or Obama, bring it on.

Where is garr, did he vanish as with his magical sky wizard?

Was talking to him last night and he didn't seem to be feeling much different than usual. The flu bug has been hitting us all pretty hard this winter.
