Just kind of curious why a Church can't or won't let people in need of a warm shelter for a few nights stay in their basements? There must be a fund that someone is trying to tap into.

I myself have one issue on this shelter for homeless people. I know the oil boom has created an influx of people and my guess is that some of these people are coming fom other states. Before coming i would think they need to make sure they have housing. Here we are again footing the bill for this and putting more people on welfare/food stamps in ND when they just moved here. They need to take a little responsibility in finding housing before moving here. Welfare State :(
