The rich will get richer, fact of life. If we are only talking about 1 percent of the American population why get your panties in a bunch.

The majority of the American population are middle class and always will be. As Americans we need to do the things that provide the opportunity to ensure more people have that chance that I have had.

Creating a welfare state will not accomplish that but will ensure liberal enslavement of all future liberal voters. Some people were born with a silver spoon in their mouth and some of us had to work for success. Don't deny these people of their success.

The gap between rich and poor is not the issue. It doesn't matter how wide the gap is or will get. The question is are creating an environment that gives most the opportunity to reach the $54,000 level or beyond. This presidolt has taken every opportunity to make sure that his voters are dependent and will continue their servitude. If you disagree please respond.

In the U.S., the gap between rich and poor is wider than it has been since the 1920s. The top 1% own 42% of the nation's wealth and on average made $717,000 per year from 2008-2012 compared to $53,046 for everyone else. While the financial crisis of 2008 may have hurt all of us somewhat, the 1% reaped 95% of all income gains since that time

One and the same, don't be fooled. Don't be fooled by someone that can't defend the liberal position.

For an elderly person you surely skirt any issue and try to deflect like any loyal liberal would. I don't fault you for that. However it speaks volumes to every conservative at your inability to talk issues and that is the crux of most of problem facing this country today. Talk is cheap it takes money to buy whiskey.

willygarr/canook,

Thank you, as you type we continue to learn more about your deception. You were born in 1944 and went on to graduate from high school in 1962, and then graduated from college in 1966. After college you joined the army where you became an officer. Where did you receive your military training to lead men. I know you said you were shot in the bum and that is where you received your purple heart medal. Where did you go to college and where did you receive your military training?

willygarr/canook/markhighwater,

I'm still waiting for math class.

If the following is true, I was ten when you started your tour in Vietnam. Do you honestly expect any of us to believe you talk like this, a person of your age and hopefully wisdom. If I was ten then you would have to be almost 80 now. It's hard to deceive for that long.

Started tour on May 15, 1968 at Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam..My rank is Captain, Us Army. My MOS {training} is 4800D Maintenance Officer for Ordnance and Civil Affairs...Units served; A Co. Army Depot Long Binh Army S>P>T>, CMD Saigon, 1st LOG CMD, USARV... Medals: Purple Heart

willygarr/canook,

You're truly a nonvet and will never admit the fact. You seem to be an educated person but lack any inference of common sense. Don't have the desire to debate this with you anymore. If you served in the military in 1968 I will thank you for your service but you and I know your a fake.

"The best way to avoid an estate claim is to leave nothing in the estate. Most Medi-Cal beneficiaries leave nothing but a home. If the property is transferred out of the beneficiary's name during life, the state cannot place a claim. Any transfer of real property can have tax consequences that may outweigh a Medi-Cal estate claim. Currently, there are a number of legal options (irrevocable life estates, occupancy agreements, certain types of trusts) available to avoid probate, avoid tax consequences and avoid estate claims. Anyone considering a transfer of real property should consult an attorney experienced in the Medi-Cal rules and regulations."

Is there a difference between the Federal Estate transfer time frame rules vs the medi-cal property transfers rules under the state? Might be.......

The amount of recovery is limited to the amount of benefits paid or the value of the beneficiary's estate, whichever is less. For example, if the appraised value of your home is $200,000 and you left it in joint tenancy with your three children, the State can only collect up to $50,000, which is your part of the estate - even if the Medi-Cal benefits paid to you is more than $50,000." "The State cannot recover from IRAs, work-related pension funds or term life insurance policies, unless they name the state as the beneficiary or they revert to the estate. This is rare, as most people name a beneficiary for pension funds and insurance policies." "If the gift deed transfers the home outright to the individual(s) and you retain a life estate, this would be considered irrevocable and would be immune from recovery."

"Won't be forgotten at election time will it????"

Yeah, more Democrats are going to get elected. The Republican CRIMINAL party is going to get thumped again. Too many scandals and indictments, too many Huckabees screaming about women not being able to control their libido.

If Republicans don't ditch their 19th century social agenda and stop all the criminal activity, they will no longer be a party.

With Obamacare they will take away some of the "rights" we had prior to our end of life quality.. Hope you don't mind when he says pull the plug on your Mom or Grandmom becasue they are of no value to this society anymore..
