willygarr/canook,

I'm tired.

willygarr/canook/markhighwater,

I'm still waiting for math class.

If the following is true, I was ten when you started your tour in Vietnam. Do you honestly expect any of us to believe you talk like this, a person of your age and hopefully wisdom. If I was ten then you would have to be almost 80 now. It's hard to deceive for that long.

Started tour on May 15, 1968 at Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam..My rank is Captain, Us Army. My MOS {training} is 4800D Maintenance Officer for Ordnance and Civil Affairs...Units served; A Co. Army Depot Long Binh Army S>P>T>, CMD Saigon, 1st LOG CMD, USARV... Medals: Purple Heart

Republicans want to rein in entitlement spending and so do a few Democrats and Indedpendents. They are right it is unsustainable with current Government Priorities controlling a limited Pie. If either side wants something new then they should cut from somewhere else. It is a mantra of the Repubican party. Except in this case and this specific entitlement reduction!

centerish, get real. You only want "facts" that line up with your lefty point of view. Why can I say something terrible like that? Because of your penchant for dismissing any and all viewpoints not lefty, i.e., "right wing" sources.

If anyone can post a source that refutes centerish's viewpoint, and she doesn't call it a "right wing" source, I'll do 20 somersaults in my living room. Promise.

If only the old and sick would "die quickly" the GOPs healthcare plan would be a HUGE success....they need to devise quicker ways to end life, and not prolong it.

centerfield, reading certainly isn't your strong point. yes medicare. the doctor said prior to jan 1st they could get approval for the procedure in 24 hours. since the first approvals have been running 12-14 days. that's just approvals. scheduling wasn't an issue, it was scheduled for three days after the approval. so what do you have to say regarding loosing the dr. one lady had for fifteen years. and of all things an oxygen provider? your going to have to make a little better argument your is pretty weak.

"Gracchi was forced to postpone her Jan. 3 biopsy and follow-up treatment at New York's Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the largest private cancer center in the world, when her insurance rolled over into a new plan that was part of an exchange under the Affordable Care Act.

“As of January 1, my insurance plan rolled over into a new ObamaCare plan that is part of the exchange and my doctors are no longer available in my network, so the surgeons that I was dealing with … I no longer have access to,”....

So, chad, these elderly people are getting delayed by Obamacare. I am assuming that they were on medicare last year before obamacare was implemented fully which occured just 19 days ago. So, let me take an example right here in Minot at Trinity. An angioplasty took ten days to schedule from the time it was diagnosed until completion. Rotator cuff surgery took five weeks and that was three months ago. We could go on and on but get off the blame wagon. You do not have wheels on that wagon. We hear all these examples and blame Obama. Most of the delays were here long before now. Maybe you should be talking to people from Minot on their experiences over the last five years with doctors and clinics right here in river city.
