Wahpeton, Bismarck, Grafton, Bottineau, Kenmare, Williston, etc. must all be really stupid. Someone should tell them about this State Land Schools Trust Fund. All you have to do is ask and they will give you like 1 billion dollars to build schools. On 2nd thought, since this is a big secret that our superintendent and school board in Minot don't even know about lets try and get this money for ourselves. We will just go down to Bismarck, fill out an application form for this money and load up a bus with this money. We can have schools paid for out of this trust and these other communities will be none the wiser. Boy are they stupid. Can't believe nobody else has thought of this. Signed, Veritas, Muleskinner, Legend, Concerned, ChasinND and everyone else who thinks they have the answer other than the proposed bond issue.

I don't collect social security and I don't want to pay for it.... let's cut that! I don't need Medicaid, let's cut it. Speaking of quality of life, quality schools= quality community.

Our schools need changes to city and county spending because they took the money and did not spend it wisely.

Vote NO Dec. 10th. on BOTH measures! and then cut sports fund. You play, then you pay! We paid all fee's and more when our kids went to school because their sport wasn't sanctioned by Minot Schools or the NDHAA.

We have more than enough business. The consolation is our high taxes, ready to go higher are a number one concern of any person or business looking at minot. Second might be cost of living which is high and going higher. Money attracts those who have it and turns away those who don't (except 4 wages). Sure glad that hoity toity supper club (members only) will b in williston. Third might be quality of life. We had some once--oil took it.

Parents with children in private schools pay for both private and public schools. Private schools reduce the financial demand on our public schools. Their is a direct benefit to helping the private schools. Is there any end to growing Minot? I can't afford any more of it. If u like the noise, conjestion, high prices, high taxes, high crime and pollution, it is available in many other places and i wish u would go there and leave Minot with what little peace it has left.
