In spite of all the controversy over Viet Nam--our efforts took a big bite out of communism and in my opinion started the downward slide of the iron curtain. Iraq caused a complete lack of trust in our Government for many.

The information following comes from fish we like to shoot with a rifle. For some reason my bud bill seems to think I need to provide information about my military service. My disdain for his deception should serve as evidence that I have served this country. He claims that he was shot in the bum and that is where he received his purple heart medal, eh. My contention is that he is a total fake and not even an American citizen. If he is a citizen, he is a transplant. All really need to look at this to expose billyboy blue for what he is, a fake. I know this doesn't follow the original post but needs to be said again.

My Vietnam experience has been well documented on here. Started tour on May 15, 1968 at Bien Hoa Province, South Vietnam..My rank is Captain, Us Army. My MOS {training} is 4800D Maintenance Officer for Ordnance and Civil Affairs...Units served; A Co. Army Depot Long Binh Army S>P>T>, CMD Saigon, 1st LOG CMD, USARV... Medals: Purple Heart

When it comes to snark delivery, you guys are the pros, while the rest of us are seemingly stuck in amateur night.

That's not necessarily a compliment.

NT4M, your songs make me feel as though I've been hearing the jingling for more than 12 days.

Brave effort, but I don't mind. Keep them coming.

Willgarr,

You and friends want to politicize religion. Saying that religion is in ya'll conservatives and recognizing God would be bowing down to all conservatives and republicans. God gave us the choice to accept him or not. It's not political.

Every day I wake up, still breathing is a second chance. Not liberal or conservative, just another chance to hopefully do better for whoever.

If you hadn't noticed God gave you another chance to be civil. It doesn't matter if you served in the military or if you're even and an American citizen, He forgives your failures and offer everlasting salvation if you will accept him.

Had hopes of a different response. Pretty obvious that didn't happen. What happened to the liberal mantra of compromise. My bad, being called out as a liar precludes any opportunity of that ever happening. Let's all just resolve that what happens will happen. Make your bed now lye in it.

Funny you would question me as a citizen and veteran of North Dakota. I'm not the one that posted a fictitious copy of my military record online. How do we know it is fake, because anyone that was in the military does not have that stored in their hard drive. You choose not to answer my questions and that's ok. This isn't about me and you. If you truly care about the future of this country you will soften your tone and consider my prospective. What's it going to be? Will you and anyone else talk about things that we as voters can impact?

No Veritas, you are wrong. I have never bought some store junk, which only tries to impress the readers. Obama and the Democrat party dug up their own bag of bones. They can't help themselves lying about other people to make themselves feel better. This health care is trash. Obama is feeling sorry for himself. And who cares about the next election. We all vote and vote how this government treated us. And the people who wanted the rest of the US to share wealth also are disappointed.

Mudslide, should you have posted more of the article? Like this: "But with expanded Medicaid under health care reform and access to individual insurance through the new state insurance exchanges, state and federal agencies expect hospitals to be recouping more money in reimbursement for patients who were previously uninsured or underinsured. This, they reason, makes DSH payments less necessary. So the health care law includes a six-year schedule for reducing those payments by $18.1 billion nationwide between 2014 and 2020, eventually phasing out DSH entirely."
