What you don't know while BNSF may service these tracks they don't service the trains. This only half the story.

@ concerned..quit commenting on something you know nothing about...

I work for BNSF and I can tell you that we dont fill the trains but we operate every oil train on the BNSF line. When the train is running on our tracks BNSF employees are on those trains. The only time we dont run them is when they are in the loop filling. We bring them in and bring them out. And when there is a problem with the car or engine it get serviced in Minot by BNSF

The only trains that operates on the BNSF line that arnt BNSF crew are Amtrak and a CP train that is transferring cars to BNSF. The oil facilities have their own conductors and engineers to operate the train on their loops, that is all they do.

The article reads that BNSF is a part of all operations of the facilities. I do know what I am talking about and yes I went back and talked to BNSF and they were talking about the rail itself and not the other entities involved.Thank you and have a good day......

BNSF services every train on BNSF track period. BNSF employees are on all trains except Amtrak and a CP transfer train. BNSF employees bring trains to every oil facility...they bring them into the oil loop and back out of the loop.

Just for the record....other entities are involved in making the oil transfers and ensure the trains are FRA approved........
