there is a huge difference between a diesel refinery and a gasoline refinery.

It is really interesting that huge multi-national oil corporations can fool the public and politicians on not building refineries but MDU and a group of Native Americans can put refineries together. As I understand it, MDU is building already. There will be more refineries but big Oil won't build them. They just want a dirty oil pipeline to ship oil to China. Yippee.

you'd be wrong Legend. It's been going on for at least ten years. Seven years to fund and permit it was exactly what it took. My uncle, a member of the TAT told me the permits were applied for ten years ago and that it was going to happen. I told him he was nuts. Well he gets the last laugh. I argued he had inside information since he was the tribes legal counsel lol.

"Roughly a decade of permits and processes". The story must have been quite hidden for the first 7 years of that decade. It was a new-news story from Dorgan about 3 years ago. That nasty Federal permit process appears to be more right wing rant than fact. Did you see any wait time in the Bakken for drilling permits? I did not.
