So all those Democrats in Congress who voted FOR going to war are just victims of a president's lie?

I'll accept that, just as easily as I'll accept today's Senate Dems back-pedaling certain tenets of Obamacare as far as their filibusters will carry them.

thehill . com/blogs/floor-action/healthcare/189236-senate-dems-admit-obamacare-fix-is-needed-to-fulfill-like-it

"Two Senate Democrats introduced legislation on Monday aimed at making good on President Obama's promise that if you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it.

"Sens. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) proposed the Keeping the Affordable Care Act Promise Act. Landrieu admitted Monday that the bill is needed because millions of health plans are being canceled under ObamaCare for failing to meet the law's new standards."

Benghazi is only a scandal in the minds of Lisney Gram and Fox Newz Channel viewers.

What does it matter? We should be more concerned about Obamacare officials barging into rural Wyoming churches and implanting RFID chips in worshippers. That is a "real" scandal...

Head space and Timing...

What I'd like the liberals here to address is how President Obama is really different from any other president elected before him, especially the Republicans they love to hate.

How does President Obama line up?

Lying? check

Crony capitalism? check

Partisan allies? check

Budget woes? check

Overspending? check

Vacation time? check

Golf? check

He's really not that different, is he? He's human. He's misspoken. He's been misunderstood, especially in his desire to "transform" the country.

Yep, as far as presidents go, President Obama isn't that much different than any others before him.

To some, that is not possible.

NT4M,

It's hilarious to hear folks like Whiz, Vomit, Loco, and NDvet accuse Obama of lying. They and their kind mastered the art of lying.

If I have lied about anything you should be specific and call me on it. Just like I have called Willygarr/canook on his military record to no avail.

November 11th

Veterans Day: A celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

This should be of interest to Willygarr/canook because He is a decorated Army Officer from the Vietnam War.

After "researching" the definition of "incredible," I stopped to peruse the definition of "great."

If anyone else but centerish had said "great research, loco" to me, I might have been flattered.

But since it's centerish telling me "great research," the words are assumed to be sarcastic. Always. Evermore.

Thanks ever so, centerish, and I'll just keep on.

NT4M, as I read your posts, the word "incredible" comes to mind.

Incredible, adj.

1. So implausible as to elicit disbelief

2. Astonishing

My daffynition is "not credible."

How about some "research" from the avid administration apologists on how President did NOT lie to the American people that they weren't going to lose their plans or doctors once Obamacare came online.

Can't find anything? Yeah, it's not there!

The only way to try to walk this back was for Pres. Obama himself to try working the magic again (the "apology" on NBC). He's been trying to convince us that we didn't hear him correctly, when he's been videotaped saying his own words.

centerish, I know that sources that are non-lefty will ALWAYS get your disdain, but really, how can you avoid this truth about the President?

Lefties must have really enjoyed playing "Twister" growing up...

This Fournier guy? Is he the same one that came up with this fake threat:::

In February 2013, Fournier wrote a column about breaking ties with a White House official after a pattern of "vulgarity, abusive language" and "veiled threat(s)", but did not identify the person. Not much credibility here!!! More great research , loco. It is called axe to grind. Also, look at his other writings. Typical right winger hater.

Loco, maybe a little research could help your posts====== "A 41-year-old living in San Diego County (where his farm is located) can easily find a Bronze Plan for about $70 a month more than what Ratigan is paying now. Now, the Bronze plan would be more expensive but would also cover more than his current plan. Oh, and Ratigan has been a long time proponent of catastrophic plans only. But, not everyone has the money that he does to pay lump sums all at once. Great research, loco.

NT4M, you said it was "hilarious to hear folks like Whiz, Vomit, Loco, and NDvet accuse Obama of lying. They and their kind mastered the art of lying."

Unfortunately for you, not all right-wingers appreciate lying, no matter who does it. Lumping all who disagree with your stance on life into one big, indistinguishable blob might make it easier for you to throw your salvos at, but it's not truthful or realistic.

"...YOU right wingers have absolutely no credibility whatsoever when it comes to honesty."

This is a deflection from the issue. You seem to be saying that now that the President, a left-winger, has been found lying, suddenly the focus is supposed to shift to all the lying right-wingers do?

Wow, the President gets a pass again from all his avid supporters. Not surprised.

Chicago Sun Times, Lynn Sweet

"Meanwhile, the website selling health insurance under Obamacare in Illinois and other states — Healthcare.gov — is still not fully functional and never has been since the Oct. 1 launch. A remarkable feature of Todd’s interview with Obama — whose hair is noticeably grayer — is the president’s inability to sincerely express empathy. I know he tried, but is that the best he’s got? Given that people are freaking out when they get a notice their policies are being dropped — a horrible, frustrating life experience."

WA Post Chris Cillizza

"Here’s what President Obama really wanted to tell NBC’s Chuck Todd about the implementation of the health-care law in an interview Thursday: “Look, Chuck. We’re talking about 5 percent of the population who can’t keep their plans. Five percent. And once the Web site starts working right, they will realize they can get better plans anyway.”

"Of course, when you’re president of the United States, you don’t say that — unless you don’t want to be president much longer. Time and time again during the interview with Todd, Obama kept running into the political reality that the 5 percent of the country who can’t keep their health-care plans isn’t all that big a deal unless you are part of that 5 percent."

"I'm sorry, too, Mr. President...I'm sorry you campaigned for reelection on the famous false promise: "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan. Period." I'm sorry your aides debated whether to tell the full truth (that people could keep their insurance only if it hadn't changed and if it met your standards) and decided instead to institutionalize the lie. I'm sorry that when Americans recognized the deception you tried to reinvent history: "What we said was you can keep it if it hasn't changed since the law passed." No, no, no, no, no—that's not what you guys said. I'm sorry you didn't trust Americans with the truth."

Oh, mr non-veteran, you are full of it. I will give you an example of Obama care right here in ND. Oh, and you can look this up too. it really is not that hard. A 64 year old person is currently paying $640 a month for a $5,000 deductible with an 80/20 split to $10,000 program with no prescription. They have received their cancellation notice. They got into the website and are getting a BC/BS program for $451 a month. No subsidies- It is a $1500 deductible with a 90/10 copay. It also has some prescription coverage too. Not too bad, not too bad. The person has a completely different opinion of Obama care.

Good gosh, another lie from Whistler. Isn't that amazing. The welfare entrepeneur story is a complete Right wing act of mass e-mail fiction- in other words another right wing lie. You are so good at that whistler. Lets start with the man's time of death-- 2004... but, he died. Now, his widow and her nine children can collect a maximum of $512 a month total for a maximum of five years in Louisana. That is it. Now, if this guy paid into social security for at least 18 months (which probably did not happen since he was a drug dealer), then his nine children would indeed receive benefits. Now, if they did qualify, the nine would receive around $500 total a month till eighteen. Now, there are also restrictions to food stamps and other benefits would probably come to around another $500 a month. But, your lie of over a hundred grand is based on fear and lies from right wingers like you. By the way, these figures are taken from the State Of Louisana and not your jock strap.

I don't know much about how much children can receive through welfare programs, but I do know about SS benefits to surviving children. My dad died when I was 16 and I received benefits until 18 or when I stopped going to college at 19 (can't recall). My mother appreciated those payments while she continued raising me and my siblings.

FYI: she also went to work full-time and we children had to step up big time in helping with the household chores. We made meals, did laundry, cleaned house, did yard work, all in a much larger fashion than before Dad passed away.

This part is NOT about money...I am sorry for Mr. Allen's children having to grow up without their father, and I do know what that's about.
