Sometimes it really is tough on a family when they have nothing from the dying person for directives. People live with guilt for years because they didn't hook up everything known to mankind and have their loved one linger in a coma for a month or two. When there is a chance for recovery that's one thing, when there isn't that's another. Anyone who spends any time at all with people has seen both ungly and indeed beautiful deaths. Hard to describe, but you sure know it when you see it. In any case guys, don't worry about the myths like death panels or anything. The only thing that is going to change is more people will have their own wishes followed.

It's Affordable Care Act propaganda. Bad propaganda.

The letter gives me the willies.

Advance Care Planning is helping you die, not keep you alive. Ms. Grabow said it herself, she unplugged the ventilator.

Call it what it is, Grim Reaper Care.

No thanks.
