Lianne Zeltinger, Minot I would like to thank Mayor Curt Zimbelman for hearing the cry from the valley. He knew who to contact to get the ball rolling....

The flood was TWO years ago. Not last week, last month, or even last year. People reseve their hotel rooms a year in advance. Minot residents were told they would have rooms till the time of the Hostfest. I am sure you would never create a fuss if your room was canceled, would you. We were flooded, but I for one am happy to not have to look at 4' high weeds everywhere. Weeds are easy to take care of. My you are a bitter whiner. Guess you are one who has been turned in because of your unsightly yard. What was the number of yards called to the city ---200+?

Of course, you are right. Cleaning the symptoms away is ludicrous. We should ignore the weeds, the debris, the and the abandoned houses. We need to keep the crap from the flood as a daily reminder.

how 'bout obnoxiously noxious? Save dandy lions you say? Transplanting Canadian Thistle in Legend's yard would be more fun! The earth and sun have cleansed the land of the 'crap' of which he speaks. Too bad neither of them can cleanse us of the verbal 'crap' spewed by liberals or litter/trash spewed about by mammals! Have a great week-end.
