I know people who work for Northwest Airlines and they can't figure out why Minot needs another new terminal.

Do they also work in the year 2008? That was the last year Northwest Airlines existed.

MOT was built to handle around 100,000 passengers and is now handling between 200,000-250,000. With expanded capacity there will probably be more destinations or frequencies added as well.

At least Minot received 9.56 million of our Federal tax dollars to help pay for part of it. We just have to pay the rest with our state tax dollars! Enjoy your airport for those who can still enjoy to live here and fly!

250,000/365=684.93 ~passengers every day of the year, I doubt it very much.

100,000/365=273.97 ~passengers every day of the year, I doubt it very much.

237.97*$600.00=$164,383.56/day 684.93*$600.00=$410,958.00/day

$164,383.56*365=$59,999,999.00/year $410,958.00*365= $149,999,670.00/year

So at $600.00 average air fair MOT pulls in between 60 million and 150 million a year in air fare alone.
