welcome to minot - we're #1 in property tax rates and soon to be #1 in sales tax. it looks like it's time for a some new school administrators,school board members, and legislators since they don't seem to care how tough it is for people to afford to live in the 'magic tax city'.

They put padded seats in the All Seasons Arena? Seriously? I never needed that kind of plushness when watching Minot High hockey games!

I don't understand.....raising our property taxes to build new schools to accomadate the oil boom. Where is the tax money the oil companies pay to the state. Why does the property owners of the city have to foot the bill.
