The real problem is the nation isn't following ND's lead and doing things the ND business friendly way. Radioactive waste in ND is basically the honor system. It's working well, the Colorado facility that gets the radioactive waste from ND says it gets 20% of what is expected. If national policy follow ND policy, the need for Yucca Mountain would almost disappear, electric company profits would increase, and the country would be considered more business friendly.
