The biological parents must have been busy for the last 3 years not to notice there daughter was being raped. It took the victim to victimize another child for someone to do something. Making the step father out to be a monster is not a free pass to be for the bad parenting. If I'm not mistakes The mother did not attend the sentencing because she is in jail. The worst part is the child is still living with the very people that let her get hurt.

I do not believe in these extended sentences. Instead of paying to house, feed, educate (for no real purpose whatsoever) and provide medical care for these creetons they should be "elimated" and any money spent should be to educate the victim, who could actually make use of same and be a contributing member of society. I believe, as a society, we need to get over the idea that we simply can't take a life like that. I'd argue that "Thou shall not kill" means we shall not just go around killing people for no reason. But we do embrace punishment living under the "laws of man." Sometimes that punishment SHOULD include ridding the world of horrible people. They can plead their case with a Higher Authority on the way out.

Correct, no death penalty. I think they should give him to the victims family for justice to be distributed.
