Orlys Neilsen LOL. Though I never got in-school suspension while at Central Campus, she was the ISS Supervisor. Basically make sure no one talks, laughs etc. from what I understand her day was otherwise spent with numerous calls to her family members and coupon clipping. I'm surprised she didnt' take the them to write a longer letter once school starts, when she is employed and therefore has more time on her hands

Strange. Those things sound like subsidies, which I thought the Republicans didn't like.

The current republican party favors large corporate farms and the chemical companies. The farm bill has been stripped to crop insurance and they brag about it. They ruined the program with big payouts to the largest of farmers including sugar. Food prices will go the way of fuel and chemical and medicine if they have their way.

Would it be OK then if Iowan Steve King took away the rights of only people in Iowa?

And while we're on that, this letter was long on rhetoric and short on detail. The actual provisions of the amendment aren't spelled out, only O.N.'s interpretations of them. In order to read this letter in an educated manner, one must first go look up this amendment to see if its provisions would indeed result in the consequences this letter alleges.

How NOT to write an opinion page letter.
