Yes, because the legislature has shown time and time again that they are all for the best interests of wildlife, clean water and the environment in general.

Actually, their record shows that they do NOT care about any of these things. Look at how they have dealt with any environmental issues involving the oil industry so far. And if they can put up to 15 million into a fund, that does not mean that they will put 15 million into the fund.

I believe ND is number one in reclamation of land in the USA. People should contact their legislators to encourage even more money be set aside - if needed.

I propose the tax-payers stop subsidizing the Minot Daily News -- which is a private, for-profit business.

uneducated, lazy, uninformed, feed me, clothe me, free healthcare me, raise taxes on them, where are all you people from. this is not the USA this is the united welfare of America.

Tax tax tax is all you North Dakotans want to do tax them dirty oil companies, tax those dirty home owners, tax tax tax. I am ashamed I am part of this generation of followers.

I said years ago legacy fund was a joke now they want to raise our taxes even more on property? Meanwhile the oil companies have ponied up MILLIONS no BILLIONS but yet the sheeple vote for a legacy fund don't use the money for what its intended just save it and get more from property owners!

Hey I have an idea lets try and take more from oil companies for the deer? No how about you get it from the state. No how bout we get it from YOU!

I think we get your point Leftwing lol. Anyway, this measure is totally about access for hunting. Nothing more nothing less. If landowners would allow access for hunting you wouldn't see measures like this.
