I think price gouging is the real topic here. In Minot there isn't much price competition. Everyone seems content to stay the same as their competition and over price everything.....yes they can do that.....is this ethical? No.

Said another way h4c, every server, mechanic, checker, telemarketer,tradesman,nurse, disk jockey, teacher, maid, bodyman, etc. should make $100K because there is not a $100k job out there for all but a few of them--where do you suggest they live?

Nancy would have had a point if she had not dwelled on the new development and simply stated that Minot does need affordable living quarters, not low income housing; but housing for all the HARD working service employees that Minot is in high need of with all the motels and restaurants. But H4C, is right. Envy screamed throughout her letter.

Hope4 Change...that wasn't very nice. She does have a point. In fact, our own legislatures have been cautioning Minot about the growth and yet no one heeds their warnings......and Jerry Chavez crediting himself is a joke for this opportunity....a lot of people behind the scenes are the reason some places around Minot are prospering and they don't pat themselves on the back publicly......
