They have an indoor seating area due to the climate here. At least that is what was stated in prior reports regarding this location.

I went to a Sonic last weekend when I was in Indiana. Sure wish someone would have explained it to me before I went. The whole ordeal was confusing, to say the least.

And now that I've been there, I have to wonder, who in their right mind would think this business model will work in a place where there's a foot of snow on the ground 4-5 months out of the year? I mean, they DO realize that Sonic is an outdoor only thing, right?

On the other hand, Dairy Queen can survive being closed 4-5 months, so many they'll do the same?

Funny how this is opening when the roof just leaked like crazy the other night and the place was completely wet on the inside. I guess they just wiped it all down and said screw it.
