Obama should have kept his mouth shut, instead of saying, "if I had a son, he would have looked just like Trayvon." He put race into this case. He and holder will stoop to any level to get the attention of themselves.

Well, it is all about stirring the pot. Keep everyone inflamed and busy, to take your eye off them. Maybe that works for some people. Government is out of control, and they have no reason to poke their noses in Florida's laws. What can I do about it, vote those radical's out. In the mean time,*****it up, it's a long ride.

Here's a question for all of you mouth breathing wing nut right wing conspiracy theorizing whack jobs that constitute the majority of people posting here:

If your teenage son/nephew/cousin had gone out of the house and told his parents he was headed to Cenex or Loaf-n-Jug to pick up a soda, and on his way home, he noticed that someone was following him. And that person continued to lurk in the shadows, following every step that he took, and eventually the person that was following him confronted him - and if your relative that had just gone to the store to get a soda realized that this guy was also armed - what would you hope your relative would do?

If faced with that situation, would you tell them to submit to the will of this person? Or would you tell them to fight for your life - because statistics dictate that if you submit to someone like this, you will most likely die.

What would you do? Answer me that, you great army of trolls.

Oh, and this is for you @billdoesntgetit:

Love this quote from you:

'I have lost considerable respect for the black race over the last couple years..bad thing is its only the few rotten ones like Obama and Holder then spoil it for all the good "n's" in the world..'

Yeah. Because I'm guessing that you and the black community were like two peas in a pod before Obama came into office. You probably celebrated Kwanzaa and went to the Million Man March right after you finished reading a book by Maya Angelou. I'll give you a second to Wikipedia all of that.

You're a joke. But you already know that. Because anyone that spends as much time on the MDN website commenting on articles as you do is a special kind of person filled with a special kind of intellect. Keep on posting - reading what you write is entertaining, in a sad/no hope for humanity sort of way.

You had a very nice looking young black man, 17 years old. You had a Hispanic, nice looking man 26 (under Obama Care). Maybe he was 27. And it is racist. I thought you people were fighting to let people thru our borders. He was acquitted, you were not there, and Trayvon was visiting his father at his girlfriends house. Zimmerman lived there. Do you really know for sure what happened. Does Obama?

It is good to be king. Obama uses drones to kill other brown people in Pakistan and Afghanistan and no charges are filed. The President can kill people at will and nobody complains. You would think they are hypocrites or something like that.

It's the pot calling the kettle black.

It was ethical, legal, moral, and justified, killing is then ok.

Can't argue with that, so President Obama has a license to kill.

Nobody is rioting over that fact.

I hope Zimmerman's lawyer sue NBC for everything they can get, for messing with Zimmerman's words and reporting them as fact. And Holder now wants a open and honest conversation about this case, he should not use words in doesn't understand.

Racist is used in every conversation, mostly used by Liberals. Why was Zimmerman called a "White Hispanic" by the media, and Black people like Al Sharpton, just because his Father was White. What should we call Obama? His Mother was White. A White Black. Talk, people are using, to make this more into something than a horrible situation in American neighborhoods.

Al Sharpton, Holder and all the others exploiting this, are guilty of 3 black men kidnapping a white jogger in Mississippi. They all 3 beat him and threw him out in the middle of the highway. He lived through it and is in the Hospital. Really fair, 3 men beating up 1. Yelling this is for Trayvon. I guess all legal, licensed gun owners will be actually carrying them now. Holder and Obama should have kept their big mouths shut. They just stuck a bulls eye on every white American.

Ladies & Gentlemen...it's time for @billdoesntgetit's Greatest Hits! These are all quotes from the man himself...hold on to your seats, because we're about to ride the rails on a crazy train!

'I have lost considerable respect for the black race over the last couple years..bad thing is its only the few rotten ones like Obama and Holder then spoil it for all the good "n's" in the world..' [That comment was removed by the MDN because...well...it was more insane than even his normal level of paranoid insanity.]

'All of this hoopla in the news today is just a prime example of why Blacks can never follow the American Justice system'

'The blacks cannot except our laws..they now are demanding more..'

-continued (there is just too much craziness for 1000 characters)-

-continued from previous post -

'And they wonder why the whites hate them. They have proven time after time they cannot live by the laws of the land.. Everything is oh POOR LIL ME!@!!

How come no one marched against the blacks when OJ was found not guilty? Is it because they have more brains and act like humans instead of taking to the streets like animals?

What a poor excuse of human beings they have turned out to be.

Blacks always feel picked on.'

'…my black friends feel the same way I do'

'Ask any decent black..he will tell you this country has been set back 20 years by the likes of these so called leaders..'

'some of my very best friends are blacks…In fact I have black people married into my extended family..'

'The blacks got Obama for a President and they are still out Rioting..'

'Its a given fact yet dumc offs refuse to recognize it or else they are just too blind and cannot absorb what is going on here in America.. .' [uhhh…what?]

-continued from previous two posts-

'And blacks dont create their own problems?'

'This country is a powder keg right now………'

Holy smokes! This man is just full of...something! I know it's a lot to digest in one sitting, because there is just so much going on there right now. I guess the main thought that I have is, who are these 'black friends' that @billdoesntgetit hangs with? Do they have dinner at the house while he tells them about how 'the blacks' don't respect the law? Oh, how I would love to be a fly on the wall as @billdoesntgetit spends time with all of his 'black friends' and extended family members that are black - I bet those family times are memorable!

And by the way, the country has been a race relations powder keg for about...oh...let's see here...since its inception. Yep. That whole slavery, Civil War, Separate but Equal, voting rights, civil rights movement, well...you get my point. I'm just glad 'the blacks' have someone him to represent them.

And one last thing (because for the love of God, spending any amount of time in these comment areas will drive a man to drink.) It's a quote from Martin Luther.

No, not Martin Luther King, but his namesake, Martin Luther, who said:

"The best way to drive out the devil, if he will not yield to texts of Scripture, is to jeer and flout him, for he cannot bear scorn."

If your own words make it that easy to completely defeat whatever point it is you are trying to prove, then perhaps it is time to reevaluate your words. Maybe it's time to delete your MDN account. To walk away. To turn off the television. To look out the window and not fear the boogeyman, but to instead see the goodness that surrounds us. Even though I know it won't happen, it's just something to think about.

Goodnight, you crazy bunch of crazies, you!

I think I can safely say that most, if not all, Americans have been ticked off at our justice system, for years.

Missy's post about MS is an indication of the turbulent times we are living in. willgrr's posts of past incidents of "blaming the black man" are more indications.

I hope we can get to the point in our society that we can be evaluated individually, on our own merits, not by membership in a group or by outward appearances.

Yeah, I know, that sounded like pie-in-the-sky, but I still want it to happen.

"...I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment -- this was the time -- when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals."

"I don’t believe it is possible to transcend race in this country. Race is a factor in this society. The legacy of Jim Crow and slavery has not gone away. It is not an accident that African-Americans experience high crime rates, are poor, and have less wealth. It is a direct result of our racial history."

Both quotes by President Obama

So which is it? Can we be better or not?
