It costs $1,000 more in real estate taxes and at least another $1,000 in services we hire because of oil. For most of us our quality of life was destroyed by oil. Serious crime has increased 400%. I hope to leave you with your quality of life.

I am glad there are some happy about all this. I for one liked the beautiful landscape minus the wells. I think it would be ok with me if the state capped how many we can have. Then they can get rid of the ugly windmills too.

Why are we willing to sacrifice western ND for oil to export? The recent Canadian train wreck had ND crude in the cars while big oil wants to ship Canadian crude to the gulf. No wonder gas costs so much. You do not become energy independent by exporting energy.
