Jerome Hilson, Minot Our only home and primary residence is at Rice Lake. Our house has been flooded for over two years. Currently, the water on the main floor is 2 feet dee....

As many in the Devil's lake region have done, walk away and rebuild elsewhere.

you aren't going to be approached for a buyout. the public good, taxpayers don't need that piece of shoreline. buyouts in town are for constructing dikes. public doesn't need your site. you chose to live down there and life was grand. now its not. your choice. i agree, walk away or sell when water goes down. people have short memories, somebody will want in future

I feel it is just wrong for God to not giving these people a buyout.....after all, it is a His-made event causing all of this consternation....
