i'm sure our 'leaders' will decide the best course of action will be to raise property tax and sales taxes again since 'we' have more people coming out of the woods looking for cash. if we're going to keep our "Minot, City of Champagne Taxes" title, we need to be ready in case another city tries to out-tax us.

Perhaps the citizens of Minot should take another look at this tax, as they may be financing a slush fund allowing committee members to circumvent the constitutional ban on giving tax dollars to private entities. When there is no teeth in the law it gets bent a little.
