June 19, 2013

What a joke. Seriously, we couldn’t stop laughing out loud when we read the latest comments by fired North Dakota University System Chancellor Hamid Shirvan....

Probably just the tip of the iceberg, with a bigger scandal to follow...good thing he's gone now before the whole system imploded.

"...Shirvani is a very convenient scapegoat that works wonders to divert attention to the real root cause of the problems in higher ed."

Could it be the board? Or the university presidents? Or something remotely related to the ND university system?

To a partisan, Republicans are a convenient scapegoat for *fill-in-the-blank.* Nice...

What is most disturbing is who hired this guy to lead the ND university system? He was canned in California from a much smaller job, left a mess of financial miss deeds and was hired to lead the ND university system. Check this out before the next hire.

The fact that this guy was essentially fired and then allowed to remain IN OFFICE with the very staff who expressed their fear and mistrust of the man and his hired guns is unthinkable, and could only be the work of a Board who still clearly don't understand the magnitude of his threats and intimidation. He is now playing the victim in all this and at the same time, taking every opportunity to slam his staff and the entire state of North Dakota. Put him on the next stagecoach out of town or at the very least, remove him from office IMMEDIATELY before he has the opportunity to attempt to destroy any more reputations or the mental and/or physical health of his staff.
