" Supt. Mark Vollmer pointed out that this amount would be roughly the amount of the tax break given to property owners by the Legislature during the 2013 session and would mean that next year’s tax bill would look about the same as this year’s for a Minot voter. “It would be taking the decrease the Legislature is offering and reinvesting it back into the district,” said Vollmer." i'm sure glad Mark has figured out a way to use "our" property tax relief. i guess we can expect another property tax increase in our near future.

Funny how to comes to light, right after the teachers get a big raise. Time to get a whole new school board and rain in this out of control school system.

Do you have even a little bit of a clue? Have you driven around the town to see the overcrowded schools and portables that kids are stuck in to learn? If not, I suggest you do. It's time for this community to come together for our kids and our future...yes, that involves more space and adding schools.
