"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

I have read many first person accounts of people who lived through some of the atrocities that AH perpetrated upon the people of Europe.

We are plenty full of ourselves indeed if we think that no one could rise to that level of inhumanity again.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke

I love it... the libs are bringing up the same arguements the followers of AH did back in the 30's when they started to downsize their population... amazing

Abortion is not health care, because one person...excuse me, one potential life...is terminated.

The point of this letter is with the Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v Wade unborn animals have more protection and rights than those of an unborn child. What happened to the sanctity of innocent lives?

The irony is if a minor female child wants this medical procedure, and states try to implement laws that say she will need to consult with an adult, not necessarily a parent, the right to choose people protest that it is her body and it is a privacy issue. Yet they do not protest when a minor male or female child wanting a tattoo or piercing but needs written consent and the procedure must take place in the presence of a parent or legal guardian, or a parent or legal guardian must consent for any other medical procedure. Or, does choice only apply when it involves killing a child? Sex ed is being taught in some schools earlier, yet in ND 58% of women having abortions are in their 20s it is not as though they did not know how babies are made, they chose not to use birth control.

icart Conservatives have always been in the mind set that if you want something you should get a job and work for it. The Liberals have always been of the mind set that because the Conservatives have a job and work and pay taxes it is their job to see that all lazy liberals get to stay on the free train.

I hate "free" abusers.. and there are millions of them. In fact 60% of them voted for Obama because he is the food stamp king, welfare king and the Biggest Liar.. which means they can all keep their free ride.

Conservatives for the most part have jobs and they buy insurance.. the liberals not so much.. if it ain't' free they ain't got it...

One more thing, Cart.

If a woman is pregnant, abstinence was most certainly NOT tried.

Another crayon moment...

Cart, since when are all abortions being banned in the United States?

And frankly, even a kid with crayons knows that if you don't do something, you don't get in trouble.

I don't understand the liberal mind. They have a problem with killing in war but not in killing in an abortion clinic.. Does it mean they can only absorb what they see and don't have brains enough to see what could be?

"So we are to believe any unintended or unwanted pregnancy is a forced pregnancy (to cart's mind maybe) and the U.S. has a widespread, systematic practice of forcing pregnancies?"

So loco, are you saying that banning ALL abortions won't mean "FORCED" pregnancy?? hhhmmmm???

"In our supposedly enlightened country, birth control & sex ed are readily available if girls want them. Doesn't sex ed teach a girl that one time is all it takes to make a baby?"

Maybe someone should have taught that to the Puck-heads up in Alaska?? But wait...Abstinence works SOOOO WELL, now didn't it??

Apparently, I have to go get my crayons for you too...huh???

"Killing should not be a hapless afterthought to rid onesself of an 'inconvenience'."

Well said, disgusted.

billdoesnt & Hope4, your thoughts about men and their responsibility (or lack thereof) are well appreciated.

"It is a FACT that forced pregnancy is considered a crime against humanity. It is a war crime and is condemned by: The United Nations & The World Health Organization"

"The Rome Statute Explanatory Memorandum, which defines the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, recognises rape, sexual slavery, forced prostitution, and forced pregnancy among others, as crime against humanity if part of a widespread or systematic practice."

So we are to believe any unintended or unwanted pregnancy is a forced pregnancy (to cart's mind maybe) and the U.S. has a widespread, systematic practice of forcing pregnancies?

In our supposedly enlightened country, birth control & sex ed are readily available if girls want them.

Doesn't sex ed teach a girl that one time is all it takes to make a baby? Girls, use your brains and don't be "forced" into anything unintentional or unwanted.

People are not looking at the root cause of this problem..they are looking for fixes after the cause has become a problem.

Time to go back to the beginning and stop the problem(baby) from happening.

Funny how everyone wants to say it OK to abort a baby and all the focus is on the killing.

As always the Government and people want to have their "fun" "roll in the hay" or whatever term they use for sexual activity and no one is charged if they create a baby that has to be aborted. I still think the male should be brought into the picture and charged for inciting a killing.

If you sell drugs to a person and he overdoses and dies you have committed a felony and are charged and tried for it.. If you inject sperm into a women and she kills the sperm either the mother or the doner should be charged for it.

men need to be brought into this picture and treated as the cause.. They should be charged .. Then and only then will we slow down the acts that create these unwanted babies..

This is more then about the dead baby. Its about the irresponsible Father of this dead baby and the irresponsible mother of this dead baby.

and btw, I can tell you that many of the live births are used to get onto the government food chain, so that part of your argument is completely off track. Women know how to use and abuse our system. Dependency is never a good thing.

Icart, so you are saying that these women who are having abortions have been lined up against their will, locked into captivity, forced to have repeated sex, only to bring forth life, again against their will. They did not have consentual sex, random hook-ups, or happy sex with their boyfriend of three hours, two days, one month or a bit longer? Really? If a woman has a civil right to her own body, that civil right starts with saying NO to random sex and protecting her body from that point. That point meaning prior to the sex act, itself. something that you seem to miss. Killing should not be a hapless afterthought to rid onesself of an 'inconvenience'.

Love the fetus, ignore the child...

You think that they are too young for E.C., but not too young to give birth..."facepalm"

Now listen here...Your GOING to have that baby...Got it!! And then you and your kid are on your own. It's not the Government's job to cover for your poor choices!

Why do conservatives believe that outlawing guns won't prevent gun violence, but outlawing abortion will prevent abortions???

It is a FACT that forced pregnancy is considered a crime against humanity. It is a war crime and is condemned by: The United Nations & The World Health Organization

I hope maybe these memes will help you disgust...Specific enough for you??

Really disgust, you want "ME" to paint you a picture of "YOUR" comments??? I'm not quite to sure where YOU are?? I kinda think Matman's comments to you should be a "picture" for you...

Your words, "For you not to understand that basic human respect for life is unbelievable" ..You say your pro-life, and that a woman apparently has no civil "rights" to her own body??? So you FORCE her to have the baby, and after that it's "her problem"??? She's nothing but sucking off the gov "teet"??? Nice, real nice!!!

icart, I keep thinking about your post. Can you be more specific? Back in high school we had an English teacher who taught us about the subject line in each paragraph needing to backed up with details and specific picture sentences. Can you describe for me what you are interpreting my comments to mean?

A woman's civil right? boy, you are really out there somewhere, where, I am not sure. Life, all human life is to be revered and not tossed out with the garbage or sewage. For you not to understand that basic human respect for life is unbelievable. And you believe in making people dependent upon the government- as bad if not worse than no respect for human life. Tell me, would you want to be dependent upon a group of strangers in DC for your very existence?
