The IRS’ abuse of power

May 27, 2013

Rest assured that if liberal political organizations had been harassed last year by the Internal Revenue Service, heads would have rolled, on President Barack Obama’s orders....

"willgrr (and Veritas), I did the best with what I was given. You (willgrr) even said that you didn't expect to find Bush photos, right?

"So Peter Ferrara isn't your cup of tea? No worries here. He was editorializing, just like liberals have done. At times."

Peter Ferrara, Forbes 10-25-12

"Yet there was our President Obama telling this mendacious fairy tale (the youtube video) to the entire world at the U.N. And there was U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice telling the American people the same concocted fairy tale. Typical Progressives, they were so certain that they could easily buffalo a majority of their countrymen, no smarter than the representative Homer Simpson.

"An incredulous IBD editorialized, 'How could emails be sent to the White House Situation Room in real time describing a terrorist attack on sovereign U.S. territory in which four Americans were killed as it happened, and as a drone flew overhead recording the truth of the carnage, and the President and Secretary of State insist that it was all about a video and there was no evidence to the contrary.'"

I guess this is all there is, willgrr.

"The Republican party is open for repairs," Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus admitted on FAUX Sunday.

"If we're being honest about it, we haven't decisively won a presidential race in 24 years."

"Locomotive, Wee/Veri/Center have used the "shut up" and "too many posts" but only for people with different opinions....."

Yes, DustOff, you are telling the truth about that.

willgrr: "P.S. Have you found those 57 "situation room" pictures that show Bush watching 57 embassy employees dying?"

One would think that since willgrr has mentioned this more than once, that he would be first in line to detail whatever he's found. Post away.

I'd even be bipartisan and check the sources out entirely. Why not, if the truth is what we're after, right?

Heard one Sunday news show and willgrr's assertion about groups getting investigated solely if they're not paying taxes is a bit off-track.

Most of the roundtable guests were speaking about the IRS's targeting of conservative groups as politically motivated, not motivated by mere collection efforts.

Swing and a miss...

DustOff, over time I have been able to understand both you and willgrr a little better, because words mean things.

Yes, I have done my own research several times to independently confirm what both you and willgrr have posted.

And it seems you two started your own special brand of dialogue well before I arrived. It's been interesting.

But now I need to ask you something, and I know you'll tell me the truth, DustOff.

When was willgrr made post moderator, and why didn't I get the memo?

willgrr, it sure is pesky that I did say the word "if" as in "if the allegations...prove to be true..." Almost lawyerly, eh?

I am willing for the allegations to be proven either way, true or false, even though loyal partisans might not believe that. And I'm not shy about saying what might happen if the proof goes one way, just like many liberals aren't shy about saying things about any Republican and what might/could/should have happened to them all, especially former Pres. Bush.

And we're waiting...

Now we wait until willgrr's latest (outrageous) "allegation" is substantially proven.

And we're waiting...

Dear Democrat of all Democrats (willgrr), "Some say" your repeated "allegations" against any and all Republicans or conservatives are getting old. Your smear campaign is running out of steam. Where are your retractions? Nowhere in sight?

willgrr, you don't need another mouthpiece for your partisan speechifying.

The one you have seems to serve you well enough, plus you have lots of allies.

Sail on!

"The Defense Department took to Twitter to clarify that some troops in Afghanistan’s Paktika province are receiving Meals, Ready to Eat instead of hot breakfasts as U.S. forces prepared to pull out next year."

Frankly, when people are permanently moving from a location, there will be changes in the amenities. One of life's challenges.

Many wartime vets have endured more than losing a hot breakfast due to logistics changes. I thank them for their service and hope they can safely return to their families.

"Now you either applaud this story or you condemn it."

willgrr, why should anyone believe anything that hasn't been substantially proven?

That's why I say the recent administration "scandals" are "allegations" instead.

I haven't heard the Breitbart "allegation" anywhere else, so I won't believe it.

And now how many "allegations" have you fully believed about any former Republican president, before they have been substantially proven?

The problem with the GOP's plan to claim that this president's activities are akin to "Iran-Contra," "Valerie Plame" and "Watergate" is the fact that those were all Republican scandals.

Doh!

Morons, thieves, bigots and Bible thumpers.
