The US Census bureau also came out with THEIR estimates, and they say Minot grew a few hundred people from 2011 to 2012 to around 43,767. So not sure who to believe? I seriously do not think we are even near 50,000...but maybe in a few years if the Air Base doesn't close and if Oil moves this way. I'd bet on Williston will hitting 50,000 before Minot does.

What a beautiful sunrise this morning! The article is allot of wish full thinking, and very optimistic. I sincerely hope all these housing units get built, then maybe people will be able to afford to live in Minot because of all the empty housing units available. The competition for our dollars that are not increasing will hopefully bring taxes and cost of living down about 50% at least.
