Who cares what grade the building gets, lets hope for straight A students. The asbestos thing/problem will get chump change for the administrators to spend. When I was in the third grade we had to leave the classroom occasionally because the ceiling was falling down and had asbestos/silicone in it. Somehow about 30 years after that building was torn down the local school system got over $200,000.00 for the asbestos that was in that building, us students never saw a dime and we were there breathing it. It's a scam.

Well with all the money the state has it's being put to good use...I mean I would totally move out of Minot if they didn't provide the over $3M to repave the fairgrounds.ha...screw my kids safety. And if you have a children in MPS, you know*****well this has false info...the buildings are old, have asbestos, plumbing issue...blah blah blah, we got letter regarding it! It's all about attracting people to Minot, take their money & who cares about the ones that were here before the "hype".

The fireplace in the library is original. Surprises me that MHS-Central didn't get a great grade as it was renovated to meet all codes a few years ago and the engineers gave it high grades as far as structure.

Maybe funding needs to be used appropriately....they didnt need to invest all the money they did into a BIG and expensive fireplace for Central Campus Library. Maybe they should have done other things instead...lets use the funding wiser folks.

When ND decided to participate in the lottery part of the proceeds were to go to the school district. Where are these funds and how are they being used????

The taxes in Minot are not portionate to the level of infrastructure the city provides it citizens.
