Crossing a line to infantcide

April 29, 2013

Americans concerned about the ease with which abortions can be obtained, not to mention government subsidies for some organizations that provide them, have warned for years that such changes in our......

Anyone who can needs to go to this link and read the indictment against Dr. Kermit Gosnell. This is from the Commonwealth of PA, not some prolife group. Read for yourself and look at the pictures.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell's trial in Philadelphia included testimony from his nurse. The doctor was joking about the size of one baby, that the little baby boy could've walked him down to the bus stop.

And we're told Dr. Gosnell shouldn't expect support from pro-abortion groups. They say that his practice was more of a rogue operation than a safe, legal abortion facility.

"The fact that he wasn't providing care later and wasn't ensuring fetal demise and not operating under any established standards of care and outside of the law is the problem in this case, and not indicative of the high quality care available across the country," (Vicky) Saporta (of the National Abortion Federation) said.

"...wasn't ensuring fetal demise..."

A rather chilling statement, isn't it.

The National Abortion Federation is mentioned in the grand jury pdf KayeMc referred to.

"NAF is an association of abortion providers that upholds the strictest health and legal standards for its members. Gosnell, bizarrely, applied for admission shortly after Karnamaya Mongar's death (she's the lady who overdosed on Demerol). Despite his various efforts to fool her, the evaluator from NAF readily noted that records were not properly kept, that risks were not explained, that patients were not monitored, that equipment was not available, that anesthesia was misused. It was the worst abortion clinic she had ever inspected. Of course, she rejected Gosnell's application. She just never told anyone in authority about all the horrible, dangerous things she had seen."

My first post included a quote from Vicki Saporta, NAF. I found that on ABCNews . com.

I did read the pdf in its entirety. I can't see how people can try to be neutral on the issue of abortion.

Yes, Dr. Gosnell had a dirty, unsafe, unprofessional abortion clinic. But the end result of that clinic's practice was "ensuring fetal demise" seemingly at whatever cost.

I despise the semantics game that's played during the abortion debate.

"Ensuring fetal demise" is the very same thing as "making sure the baby's dead" isn't it?

Why don't people just say it like it is?

"I don't want no stinkin' baby and I'm gonna kill it."

It's the end result, no matter how you say it.
