That is true.

We are taxed heavily no doubt. Unfortunately too often than naught we vote our party instead of the individual.

Need a constitutional amendment to change so that our congress has the right design for progress. (very subjective that)

Suggest: 1. Single Federal tax - No more gimmicks. Yes I do believe one size fits all. Got to be better than what we have now. 2. Single State Tax - No sales, income or other tax. One tax, and take care of it. 3. Term Limits for congress. No more than 2 for senators, and 3 for House. 4. Campaign contributions from voters only. No Corporate, superpac or hiding! 5. Eliminate Election Gerrymandering. Districts should be clear cut defined a square or population density. No more Sliver S's to carve out your party.

And no one is saying we are not paying enough taxes... What they are saying some people, - Most all the uber rich - are paying a much smaller percentage. Loop holes galore. Simplification is the only way to level the field and change the or update the constitution to reflect todays realities.

Is it? Not sure about that because I have never looked at it.

I can definitely affirm that the best breaks are for the more wealthier. I am not sure who are politicians listen too but being wealthy or a corp helps guide there ear, and there judgment. Most want reelection above else and that Unfortunately guides there decisions.

Yes I know they pay most of the taxes, but that is because they have most of the money.

Corporate tax? Get Rid of it... Big economic boost.

I do not mind paying taxes but I do not want a team of lawyers to get the best breaks!
