Millions upon millions of dollars have been spent on flood control and so far the results are dismal.

It doesn't work, it can't work, and any future attempts to have flood control will not work.

It will flood again and no amount of money and flood control efforts are going to change that.

The City Of Minot and the rest of the fools need to change, critically think about it, and realize that it can't be done.

The Souris River rules the game.

Looks like more money will be spent on more studies to study where to waste the new federal welfare check!

The Feds offer to raise the flood plain a few feet was 4x this amount...of course if the city council accepted that money...there would be no need for the MASSIVE flood control project they were planning, long before the waters had receded in July of 2011 ! ! !

I guess this is why the city council rejected the $150 million the Feds offered to raise the flood plain a few feet...there is still plenty of pork out there, even though the country has been running a deficit since BUSH/CHENEY!...socialism for the rich..capitalism for the rest !

I know and feel I will not be questioning this money...even how it's used. I just continue to feel any gift is a good gift....while they last...
