H4C, I logged onto moveon . org and found the following title, smack dab in the middle of the webpage....

"WARNING: You May Actually Weep While Watching The Film Version Of Wisconsin's Epic Uprising"

"Clear your schedule, grab a box of tissues, and relive the moments..."

Uh, I don't think I'll click on this video. I'm not "progressive" enough.

"MoveOn**** was started by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd, two Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. Although neither had experience in politics, they shared deep frustration with the partisan warfare in Washington D.C. and the ridiculous waste of our nation's focus at the time of the Clinton impeachment mess. On September 18, 1998, they launched an online petition to "Censure President Clinton and Move On to Pressing Issues Facing the Nation." Within days they had hundreds of thousands of individuals signed up, and began looking for ways in which these voices could be heard."

“Wasting away in Sequesterville” America needs another theme song like Annie during the Carter years. “The sun will come up tomorrow” and it did with the election of Ronald Reagan. Now, I think we need an updated song that reflects what this administration has given us and so I offer these original lyrics to be sung to the tune of “Margaritaville.”

“Wasting away in Sequesterville” soon to be sung in taverns and other places across America. Obama likes to sing I hear, so he can lead us in this whimsical song. Let’s hear it Baracko!

And this has got to be a Sign of the Obama Times: closing the W.H. down for tours because he says it’s because of sequestration. To deprive Americans’ and school age children a chance to tour America’s house is a travesty only an Obama could devise. What does it really cost when the tour guides are for the most part volunteers? Time for America to change the locks of the White House , I think so!

As a POTUS Obama will go down in history as the worst POTUS ever. He is not elected to push his personal agendas and that is all we have heard from him is what he wants. A good POTUS will stay out of the decision making process and just make sure the rules are followed by all parties present.

The federal government is fat. It's basically stomping around the states looking at money and screaming "GET IN MY BELLY!" We don't need this kind of bureaucracy, kill it.

Poor Verts, still trying to put round pegs in square holes. The mental maturity of the left are amazing.

JackAaah, I would think by now they would know that I’m not Dusty or Carlson. Very confused bunch but that is not news either.

Verts.....I may not be able to connect the dots, but I feel I am more and more like you and BillyG every day. I feel I am now mastering the Democrat Party technique of connecting the blank spaces....

No fun any longer to connect dots, in order to move forword we must connect the blank spaces. I feel....

Wow...Back in the Capital City of Republicans gone wild after a not long enough vacation.

Couldn't resist making a post from the hotel lobby last week until I realized what a waste of time that was!

Dusty/Hopeless..AKA..Ronny C..Don't you ever feel the same way..Not!

Patting your backs on all the agrees you get are like taking claim for the loudest one at a bean festival!

Now Ron, you've given yourself away so many times from the editorials... the verbage/usage...phrasing and language particulars a first year criminologist could connect the dots after an all night wine tasting event.

As far as the propoganda minister of lies and distortions...that belongs to lorexx and the other 7 faces of Dr. Lao!!!

Now you know what I’ve put up with in your absence Dusty. He is the propaganda minister of lies and distortions. He does not have too many people around here that he could call friends. All the disagrees would indicate that after his posts or utterings.

Well Bill, When it comes to spending cuts, I think it needs to be a new ball game. I don't give two figs about what GW spent traveling to his ranch. I care about what we can cut now. I can't take a bunch of vacations a year. He does not need them either. He can go to camp David for a break much cheaper. I think there is even a golf course there. The example of spending cuts should begin with him. He is the leader of this country. About time someone steps up and acts like one.

Muleskinner, a phrase once used by the Great Greenspan was “IRRATIONAL EXUBERANCE” and might aply today as well. We can’t get much for our dollars in MoneyMarkets or CDs’ == we might just as well put it in the stock market. When that crashes again we will hear a gush of hot air escaping only comparable to a man ready for a colonoscopy.

The DOW hits an all time high yesterday, looks like it again today.

The volume yesterday was 112 million shares.

That is down about 75 percent from other trading volumes, so it is an indication that retail volume has exited and is not coming back.

A lot of froth and foam in the DOW these days. If Apple were a DOW component, the DOW would probably be down a 1000 points or more.

There would be a different story of Wall Street, that's for sure.

It's also worthy to note, the sequester cuts are over a period of ten years.

Not unlike Paul Ryan's proposals that were forecasted for the year 2024 and 2040. Hypothetical at best.

Proving budgets are done with the outcome forecasted 10-12 years or more ahead. So we know where the 2009 debt came from & we know where alot of the other programs came from don't we?

So, in 2001 the US had a surplus with economical projections warranting a tax decrease (so they say) thinking by 2012 the US would be flush.

Eight years later the deficit was topping 10 trillion with two wars still unfunded.

Non-defense discretionary spending increased by over 20.7% and the military budget grew by 357% over the last 7 years.

Is not the sequester righting the wrongs by a prior administration that brought on 2 wars, unfunded medicare, almost 160 billion in education programs (that are widely criticized) homeland security and a collapsed economy with prioritized bailouts gone wrong with tax cuts favoring the 10%?

The real answer is yes but the political denial by one party and the unwillingness to give anything up is where the battle is at.
